Individual counseling provides an opportunity for you to openly talk about your thoughts and feelings in a safe environment. Together, we can discuss your issues or concerns; collaborate to create a desired picture of your life, your health, your relationships or your career; and identify what tools and resources are needed to create the change you desire. Your challenges may include:
Depression.
Anxiety/Panic.
Divorce/Separation.
Empowerment.
Boundries.
Authenticity.
Laid Off/Let Go.
Life Purpose.
Loss and Grief.
Marriage/Re-marriage.
Retiring.
Stress Management.
Couples counseling is beneficial to those interested in improving or sustaining their relationships. True love does not mean that you and your partner don't disagree or experience differences of habit, opinion or perspective. Relationships are about learning to join two lives into a shared space while maintaining the outside edges of individuality. Unless you come to a relationship without any previous life experiences, counseling is one of the best ways to ensure that your relationship will have the best opportunity to give you each everything you hoped and believed it would. It is never too late to take a deeper look. Couple's counseling/ relationship counseling is also a direct view into your personal life. We each live our lives in relationship every day, be it with co-workers, neighbors, family or friends. How you show up in one is very closely related to how you show up in them all. Therefore, if you are dating, engaged, newlyweds or you have been married for 40 years, together we can look at:
Communication.
Financial disagreements.
Infidelity.
Trust issues.
Premarital,
Pre-commitment counseling.
Family of Origin Dynamics.
Roles/Archetypes.
Personality Conflicts.
House/Living Together Challenges
Business coaching provides an opportunity for you to get back to the basics of your business. Re-establish goals, milestones and intentions. Together, we can identify your challenge areas or concerns; collaborate to create a desired picture of where your business can go; and identify what tools and resources are needed to create the change you desire. Potential areas we may cover:
What is working?
What skills do you have?
What skills do you need
to develop?
What needs to be altered,
reframed, fixed, dropped
or reinvented?
How to create a platform.
Systems.
Sales funnel.
Branding.
Messaging.
Community Persona.
Etc.
What distinguishes family therapy from individual counseling or marriage counseling is its perspective or framework for addressing the challenges presented. This type of counseling views problems as patterns or systems that need adjusting, as opposed to viewing problems as residing in one person (sometimes seen as the catalyst for counseling). Family counseling focuses on the strengths of the family system to address and resolve the conflicts that exist. Family counseling is about creating better systems to facilitate communications, acceptance and peace.
Parenting is a lifelong job. No matter the age of your "kids" or the status of your relationship, you are still a parent with the implied responsibilities that go with that honor. One of the greatest challenges in parenting is when the primary relationship ends and a new one begins. Blending families and learning the dynamics of a whole new system can be overwhelming for every person participating in the blend. This is the value of Co-Parenting Counseling & Coaching. CPCC is designed to create a working plan across both households for the purpose of creating consistency in the upbringing of the shared kids. The plan addresses the key areas of family life as well as any areas that are specific to each family involved. There is no greater gift you can give to your kids, your new partner and yourself than being a part of a dedicated team to ensure family and parenting success.
Family dynamics are often the hidden source for many of the challenges we face. Group counseling is one of the most effective methods for recreating those dynamics in order to heal from them. Through the interaction with others, who are going through similar situations, you have access to exponential healing for less of a financial investment. However, finances are the least of the benefits associated with groups. In addition, groups give you a support team, additional resources, new perspectives, clearer reflections of self and deeper connections in order that you may become aware of how to create lasting change in your life. Currently, the three groups rotating are:
"In Session"
"Transition Group"
"Embracing Divorce Group"
"In Session" A therapy group for therapists. To provide a safe space to process personal issues, counter transference and the emotional ups and downs of being a provider in mental health. To offer educational opportunities through shared knowledge, shared resources and shared experiences to every participating member to improve skills, techniques and therapeutic offerings. To provide effective business strategies and tactics for sustaining a thriving private practice or for creating a personal brand to stand out as a contributor in the mental health industry. E-mail for an enrollment application or ask any questions you may have.
Every day we are each faced with change. Some of the changes are very small and go virtually unnoticed. While other changes can be extremely overwhelming and hard to maneuver. Transitions is a group designed to assist you in the process of change. Regardless of the type of transition you are experiencing, there are fundamental elements that all transitions share. Through group interaction, you will learn how to better manage your transitions and how to find deeper peace, joy and purpose through your own empowerment. Call for details. 512-381-0833
